Jane Pilger | Binge Eating Coach

Understand why binge eating keeps happening and how it actually stops.

How do I stop binge eating?

If You’ve Tried Everything and Nothing Has Worked

Most of the people I work with are not new to this struggle. They are smart, capable, and deeply motivated. They have read the books, followed the plans, and worked hard to stop binge eating.

What has been missing is not effort. It is understanding.

Binge eating continues when the deeper pattern driving it has not been seen or addressed. When that pattern becomes clear, change stops feeling like a constant fight.

And if you’ve just had a binge, don’t worry - my 5-Step Relief Plan will guide you on what to do next.

What to do After a Binge

A Binge Eating Coach Might Support You If:

✔ You binge eat or feel out of control around food

✔ You cycle between restriction and overeating, even when you know better

✔ You keep asking yourself why you can’t stop, despite wanting to

✔ You’ve tried multiple approaches but nothing has lasted

✔ You want understanding and relief, not another plan to follow

This work is not about willpower. It is about understanding what has been missing.

Hi, I’m Jane Pilger, a master-certified binge eating coach.

My binge eating story…

I vividly remember my first binge – surrounded by empty candy wrappers after a care package during my first semester of college. That moment marked the beginning of a 25+ year cycle of restriction and binge eating. But I found a path to freedom, and now I’m dedicated to helping others do the same.

My approach combines science with compassion. Here, there are no judgments, no strict rules—just support and understanding as we journey towards a healthier relationship with food and ourselves.

The key lies in cultivating safety and trust with yourself and with any food. Even if you don’t trust yourself around certain foods now, this can change as you learn a new approach.

Imagine your life when you're free from binge eating:

✓ Eating intuitively without fear or guilt
✓ Attending social events with confidence, not anxiety
✓ Your mind free from constant food thoughts
Trusting yourself completely around any food
✓ Energy that was once consumed by shame now channeled into your dreams
✓ Looking in the mirror with kindness, not criticism

This isn't just possible—it's your birthright. And it's closer than you think.

What might be waiting for you if nothing changes?

✗ Years of your life consumed by food thoughts and shame
✗ Missing out on spontaneous dinners and celebrations
✗ The constant anxiety of "Will I binge tonight?"
✗ Relationships strained by secrecy and isolation
✗ Your self-worth eroded by each failed attempt to "just stop"
