Why I Created The Gathering
Most people can’t create safety inside themselves without first experiencing it somewhere.
Especially if their system has spent years in pressure, responsibility, or self-control.
If you’ve tried to calm yourself down, think your way out of overwhelm, or “do the work” on your own and still feel stuck, there’s a reason for that.
Safety isn’t something you force. It’s something your system learns through experience.
For more than 25 years, I lived in a body that didn’t feel safe. My binge eating, perfectionism, and all‑or‑nothing thinking were my system’s way of managing stress and expectations it didn’t know how to handle.
Even after healing my relationship with food and reaching major external goals, the internal pressure didn’t go away. What finally changed things wasn’t pushing harder — it was learning how to feel safe inside myself.
I created The Gathering to be that safe place so you can slow down, hear yourself, and learn how to build internal safety that lasts.
So…What Is The Gathering?
The Gathering is a live, 60‑minute guided group session each month where I lead you through a gentle, structured process designed to help your nervous system settle and hear yourself more clearly.
It isn’t meditation, therapy, or open coaching.
It’s a group guided experience where you follow my lead, slow down, and learn to reliably hear what’s true for you.
Each session includes:
A settling practice to help your body shift out of pressure and into internal safety.
Guided internal awareness so you can hear your own signals
Insights from my own life and my work with clients that you can apply to your decisions and daily experiences
A simple takeaway you can use to stay connected to yourself between sessions
You don’t need to prepare anything.
